(these are the ‘low and slow’ roasts)

Marinate: Overnight if possible (can be marinated from frozen). Soya sauce or worchestershire, some salsa, beer, herbs, garlic, oil, salt pepper etc

Sear: Brown Roast on all sides and ends (with some butter)

Coat Roast: rosemary, salt/pepper & mustard

Add Liquid: pour juice from marinade in pot enough to make a good pool
Note: Just make sure that there is always liquid in the pot while cooking .

Cook Roast:Slow cooker 6 – 9 hrs
Note: There are other recipes for cooking in roasting pan in the oven or in a pot on the stove. In all cases you’re cooking with a tight lid over the roast and at a temperature that will simmer those juices.
