1. Marinated in a big bowl Over night (olive oil, rosemary, pepper salt, garlic, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, & a bit of ginger) – roast was still partially frozen when I started marinating
  2. Take Bowl out of fridge and let roast fully thaw still in the marinade
  3. Sear in very Hot pan on all sides until browned – I used some butter in the pan
  4. Put the roast in a roasting pan, salt and peppered it again, & poured what was left of marinade in pan (enough to make a shallow pool for the roast to sit in.
  5. (& Added some carrots and celery and potatoes.)
  6. Put roast in Oven fatty side up at 450 for 10minutes
  7. Turned oven down to 350 and let it cook until 125 deg. = rare – medium rare.
  8. Take roast out and let it sit for 25 minutes loosely covered with foil
